Abstract
During 2001, Hatch Consulting conducted a survey into key issues being faced by mineral resource companies. The survey consisted of a series of interviews with personnel in the industry. This paper shares some of the findings of the survey. The opinions shared by the interviewees spanned many topics. Many of these opinions could have been grouped under multiple topic headings. Each finding has however been listed under the most applicable topic heading below for illustrative purposes. Some suggestions on the application of the findings conclude the paper.
