Abstract
Most BOF shops in North America and their associated air emission control systems have been in operation for over 25 years. As these systems were aging, more stringent environmental regulations were being developed. The most cost-effective method for owners dealing with the demands of new regulations is to optimize the operation of their existing air emission control systems.
