Abstract
THE Bonneville Power Administration ( B PA) operates the Federal Columbia River Power System (FCRPS) under multiple objectives, including power, fishery, flood control, re c reation, the environment and navigation. The multiple objectives place significant constraints on the operation of the FCRPS. B PA is committed to operating the system in a manner that maximises efficiency and power generation and achieves its business objectives while meeting all other constraints and non-power objectives.
